Our bus outreach breaks down barriers. We'd love for you to join us as we serve our friends on the streets together. You'll help prepare food, drinks and supplies for the day at our office before heading out on the bus.
Once at our serve location for the day, you'll help serve food, hand out socks and hygiene kits, and have conversations with our friends experiencing homelessness. Rain or shine, we serve on the bus every Friday and Saturday.
Once they see us serving consistently week after week, relationships and trust is established making them able to ask us for advice, assistance and advocacy. Then we can connect them to available community resources and walk alongside of them until they are off the streets. We've seen countless lives changed because of our bus outreach to the homeless community.
*While there is no age limit, however, we always encourage parents to serve first if their kiddos are under 12-13 so they can get a better idea of what it is like before bringing younger kiddos. This allows the parents to prepare their younger kiddos and helps make for a better experience for both the parents and younger kiddos.
