Children’s Ministry
Our desire is for your child to have engaging, fun, and meaningful opportunities to grow in their relationship with Jesus as well as in their relationships with one another.
Children’s DTX (Discipleship Training Experience) meets every Sunday Morning at 10:00 a.m. during worship. Your family will worship together for the first half of the service and then they will be dismissed to their age-appropriate classes.
We offer classes for 3 y.o. up to 5th grade. We have a talented and committed group of teachers who make faith in Jesus come alive each week. Please contact Keri Barnes with any questions.
Welcome Back to Fall in CDTX!
This school year, CDTX will be returning to our Simply Loved curriculum, “Where Kids Learn God’s Greatest Gift.” We want to Get back to what matters most—helping kids love God and others! We will Journey chronologically through the Bible alternating between Old Testament and New Testament timelines while discovering friendship with Jesus throughout God’s story.
Each 4 week unit focuses on a specific Bible Point, and the lessons each Sunday will include an interactive Bible Story and a variety of activities with a Bible Buddy to reinforce the Bible Point of the day. We will begin the church service in the Sanctuary with our families and the children who would like to participate will be dismissed to our classrooms at the appropriate time.
We can't wait to see all our kids there!
Children’s DTX Teachers and Helpers Needed
Has God put on your heart a desire to love and disciple children? We are currently recruiting more teachers and helpers to serve once a month and to help make an eternal difference in the lives of our preschoolers through 5th graders. We will train you and set you up for success. This is a rewarding opportunity for all who serve as well as an important time for our students.
Please contact our Children’s DTX coordinator Keri Barnes, and let her know you are interested in hearing more. We continually offer training and support so you will be ready to teach our children with excellence and confidence.
You are needed and you can impact the faith of our children now so when they are older they will not turn from it.
