Get ready for a summer full of stories, smiles, and fun at Water’s Edge Church! Join us for our FREE Summer Story Time—a fun and relaxed morning designed for families and little ones to enjoy together.
Each week will feature exciting themed stories, a simple craft, tasty snacks, and plenty of summer fun! All ages are welcome, though activities are especially geared toward preschool and lower elementary children.

Starting the first Sunday in June, our kids will journey through VBS each Sunday during church services throughout June & July!
Each week will include fun crafts, yummy snacks, exciting lessons, and shining a light on who Jesus really is.

Welcome to CDTX Children's Discipleship Training Experience!
At CDTX, our heart is to create a fun, engaging, and meaningful environment where children can grow in their relationship with Jesus and with one another. Through interactive lessons, exciting activities, and intentional discipleship, we equip kids to not only understand God’s truth but to live it out—at home, at school, and in everyday life. Our goal is to partner with families in helping children build a lasting foundation of faith.

What we are learning
At CDTX, our kids are journeying through The Jesus Storybook Bible—a beautifully told, gospel-centered curriculum that reveals the big picture of God’s love.
Every lesson helps children discover how each story in the Bible whispers the name of Jesus and points to God’s great rescue plan. Kids learn that at the heart of every story is a Savior—and that He is at the center of their story, too.
Children’s DTX Teachers and Helpers Needed
Has God put on your heart a desire to love and disciple children? We are currently recruiting more teachers and helpers to serve once a month and to help make an eternal difference in the lives of our preschoolers through 5th graders. We will train you and set you up for success. This is a rewarding opportunity for all who serve as well as an important time for our students.
Please contact our Children’s DTX coordinator Hannah Schaefer, and let her know you are interested in hearing more. We continually offer training and support so you will be ready to teach our children with excellence and confidence.
You are needed and you can impact the faith of our children now so when they are older they will not turn from it.
