Global Missions

You are here: Home » Missions » Global Missions

GoGod has given us a passion for all of His people worldwide and He has given His people in America the resources needed to help to make a difference in the lives and eternities of people around the world. We have been involved in missions in China and medical missions in Honduras.

Australia

James and Sarah Barnard

James and Sarah Barnard serve at YWAM Wollongong in Australia. Part of their ministry will be working with Aboriginal Pastors to support their vision of having the different Aboriginal people groups come together to worship God. Their vision is to have a three-day event called Nations Solemn Assembly at Parliament House along with non-Indigenous Australians. James’s main role will be logistics behind the event and pastoral care of the event team. Sarah will be supporting the event in administration for this season. They have a journey ahead of them as they plan to work in Australia.

Romania

GlobalMissions_Romania

Lindsay Richard

Romania_LindsayLindsay Richard is one of our full-time missionaries in Romania. With a lifelong passion and call to work with children, Lindsay’s heart is reaching out to the orphans, the poor, and neglected children of northern Romania. Lindsay works in orphanages, gypsy communities, and hospitals holding abandoned infants. Her vision in this ministry is to show children that they are loved immeasurably by their heavenly Father and teach them their worth and beauty found in Christ, so they can grow to be a light shining brightly within their families and communities!

Water Wells in Uganda

GlobalMissions_Uganda

Alimagonza

Alimagonza_CompletedWaterWellThe people of Alimagonza are refugees from seven different tribes who have been displaced by the LRA (Lord’s Resistance Army) terrorist organization in northern Uganda. This was the only water available to them. Women and children had to walk miles to get this water for their families. They risked attacks from wild animals and rape and abuse every time they made this trip to get water. We now have put this well in the middle of the village and the people have clean water and are healthy for the first time in their lives. Pastor Raymond Kaija travels here each week to teach the people about Jesus and now there is a thriving Christian community gathering there. We are very proud that they call their church Water’s Edge Alimagonza. Praise God that these people in Uganda now have clean drinking water as well as the life giving water of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

BusiaWellBusia

Busia is the home of the first Lutheran church in Uganda. We are proud to have provided a well that provides clean water that this area has desperately needed.

Mbulamuti

Mbulamuti_GoatsWe are partners with the village of Mbulamuti. We look forward to continuing a relationship with this village where we have helped provide water, schools and ongoing child sponsorship.
