Hi, Water’s Edge Parents!

I’m so excited for the message we have coming this weekend. Last week we experienced the message of Easter and heard the good news that Jesus has conquered death. So now the questions is, “What does that mean for me?” It’s a question of eternal importance, and it is what we’re wrestling with this weekend.

When you’re ready, start your morning of worship by watching the lesson video with your kids. It’s fun for the whole family, and there is an opportunity to pause and discuss. Afterwards, there are two great worship videos from Yancy to choose from: One is for older kids, and one is for younger kids.

Worship for Older Students

Worship for Younger Students

Here is a snapshot of the lesson details for this week:

Bible Story: The Kingdom of Heaven (Matthew 7:7-11; Matthew 13:44)

Big Idea: God promises eternal life to those who seek and find Him.

Memory Verse: “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” Matthew 7:7 (NIrV)

After the video lesson and music, you can use the attached materials to help take your family deeper into the lesson:

I’m praying this message stirs up great conversation among your family about what it means to take the great step of faith toward Jesus. If you or your family has questions or wants prayer, don’t hesitate to reach out to me.

Love in Christ,
Lisa Schaefer
