Good Friday

The high point of Holy Week is Good Friday. On Good Friday we remember how Jesus willingly went to the cross and died a criminal’s death even though he was innocent. While we mourn Jesus’ death we are also filled with a deep gratitude because Jesus died for us. We have all sinned and rebelled against God, yet Jesus stood in our place making our relationship with our heavenly Father right again.

2 Corinthians 5:21
For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
