Jotham’s Journey: A Storybook for the Christmas Season
These books are fun for the whole family and are full of action and excitement, pirates and kidnappings, and they are great stories. They are set at the time of Jesus’ birth and there are discussion questions and thoughts at the end of each chapter to help you and your family discuss and apply the Biblical lessons learned. It is great to read a different book each Christmas season.
Many of our Waters Edge families have enjoyed these books and now you can, too. Just click here and order it today.
21 Days Together – One of our daily resources is from our friends at “The Red Letter 40-Day Challenge” which we experienced this past fall. The new challenge is called “21 Days Together”. Twenty-one churches have banded together to create the #21DaysTogether movement. This started on Thursday, March 19th. Click here to join the challenge.

40 Minutes in the Old Testament – Dan Price and Chad Bird are moving chapter by chapter through the Old Testament, diving into scripture, and conversing about the sinner and saint aspects of God’s Word.
Christian History Almanac – This five-minute podcast consists of stories from the past about the saints and sinners who have shaped the history of the church and concludes with a piece of prose or poetry and the reminder that everything is going to be okay.

Lenten Devotional Series
During our Ash Wednesday service we all were encouraged to add some focused time with Jesus and His Word between now and Easter. Here are some great resources to help you with that from Lutheran Hour Ministries. It also has an app that posts daily and reminds you of each new devotional. God bless you all as you grow closer to Jesus and one another.
