On Saturday, September 11, we will host our next “Must Know” seminar. The 3-hour “Must Know” seminar is just that - a seminar that explores the “must know” attitudes of Jesus Christ that are the foundation of the church. All those wishing to be engaged/voting disciples at Water’s Edge are required to attend this seminar. It begins at 10:00 a.m. and runs until 1:00 p.m. (with lunch served). Register online to attend. Join us on Wednesday, September 1, from 7:00-8:00 p.m. for the Junior High DTX Parent Meeting. This meeting is designed for ALL PARENTS who wish to have their student fully involved in DTX (Discipleship Training X-perience) this year. This is not just for new families, but for all parents of junior high students, and is important to help us prepare for another exciting and rewarding year of faith growth in our families.
The First Communion Class is for all young people, 4th grade and older, who have never learned about communion or would love to re-examine all the awesome Biblical truths and blessings of The Lord's Supper. The Men's Fall Retreat dates have been set! Start making plans now to join us on October 22-24 at Lone Oak Ranch (exactly one hour away). This fall getaway has been strategically designed to be an ideal time of spiritual refocus and renewal.
Trust us, this weekend will change your life in significant ways, and will be an experience that God brazenly uses to kick your faith journey out of the boring routines we all fall prey to. Water's Edge Allen Launch
Water's Edge Allen continues to connect and love on the people in Allen. Our next big step in serving Allen will be hosting a Sunday Morning Worship Gathering starting on September 12. Only one Sunday until the launch!
New Tech Team Volunteers Needed
We are looking for two to three tech savvy individuals to join our sermon editing and uploading team (so we can continue to get each sermon posted online in a timely and excellent fashion). People from all over the world (literally) make use of our online sermons, so your work in this area directly empowers the faith journey and witness of tons of folks. The Station Denton
God is continuing to work through The Station in awesome ways to connect the people of Denton to Jesus! College students and young adults are being empowered to live missionally focused lives as they intentionally rub shoulders with the people God has placed in their lives. The summer has been a great time of training and coaching as we prepare for the fall semester to kick off. Keep this ministry in your frequent prayers, and by all means, talk to Anthony Celia and he'll be more than happy to fill you in on the exciting things God is up to.
Children’s DTX (Age 2 - 2nd grade)
Children’s DTX is for children age two through second grade. They meet together each week mid-way through worship service for exciting and fun age appropriate lessons and crafts.
Be watching for the coloring pages that your child brings home from Children’s DTX each weekend. On the back of the sheet are follow up activities, questions and Bible verses to help you discuss the theme/story that your child talked about in DTX. If you missed out, a copy can be picked up in the Children’s DTX rooms.

Meal Ministry: The "meal ministry" team at Water's Edge is always looking for new team members to help cook and deliver meals to families facing stressful situations (the birth of a child, someone serious ill in the family, etc.) To join the meal ministry team,
